Barbara Herbein, SPHR, SHRM-SCP

Managing Director, Operations

Barbara joined DoubleStar in 1994 and leads DoubleStar’s business operations, contract administration, human capital, and administrative management functions. She has played an integral role as a member of the Leadership Team to set strategic direction for the company, as well as assist in daily operational management. She was instrumental in developing the delivery framework for DoubleStar’s market-leading Talent Intelligence services. In addition, Barbara is responsible for DoubleStar’s HR practices, processes and technology, including the design and implementation of the company’s original Human Resources Information System.

Prior to joining DoubleStar, Barbara served in lead corporate administrative and operational roles with some of the area’s leading technology and financial services organizations.

Barbara holds her Senior Professional in Human Resources certification from The HR Certification Institute, a SHRM Senior Certified Professional certification from Society of Human Resource Management, and is a Merit Graduate of Katharine Gibbs School. Barbara is a member of the Society for Human Resource Management and is also a member of and serves as a volunteer for Chester County Human Resources Association.
